Yes. Fulfilment by Amazon is available in Germany, France, Italy, the United States and Japan. It’s a easy and convenient way to grow your business across borders. Alternatively you can create a selling account under separate terms in these countries and manage the account separate from accounts in other geographies. For assistance with setting up accounts in any of these countries, please Contact us. To use these services, a seller must create a selling account under separate terms in these countries and manage the account separate from accounts in other geographies. For assistance with setting up accounts in any of these countries, please Contact us. - Can I sell on other European Amazon Marketplaces than Amazon.co.uk
Yes, you can create offers for your inventory on all of Amazon’s European Marketplaces. If an order from these marketplaces comes in, Amazon will fulfil the order from your inventory stored in the UK. - How can I manage high-volume imports to the United Kingdom?
If you have large import shipments, you will need to arrange your own customs broker who can clear the import shipment and then forward it on to Amazon’s fulfilment centre as the final destination. Amazon.co.uk may not be used as the import consignee or final address in shipping from overseas; a separate domestic shipment to Amazon’s fulfilment centre must be arranged for us to receive the inventory.
Registering Products for Fulfilment by AmazonExpand All
- How do I register products for Fulfilment by Amazon?
Identify products you wish to register in your seller account. For Multi-Channel Fulfilment Units, you must provide us with all requested product information. For Selling on Amazon Units, you may identify your applicable Amazon.co.uk website product listing on Amazon.co.uk or any other European Amazon Marketplace. - How do I create offers for my FBA inventory on other Amazon Marketplaces?
You can create an offer on any of Amazon’s European Marketplaces using the same processes you’ve used to create an offer on Amazon.co.uk. Using your Europe-wide Seller Central account, you can switch to the other Marketplaces and use our convenient listing tools. When you provide the same SKU for the item that you’ve provided in the UK, we will link your offer to the same inventory. - Can I use Fulfilment by Amazon if I don t sell on the Amazon.co.uk website?
Yes. You can ship your product units to us, and we will pick, pack and deliver the items to your customers when you tell us to. This allows you to sell your products on other platforms but still take advantage of Amazon’s fulfilment centres and our experience in shipping products. - What items are not eligible for Fulfilment by Amazon?
The Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement sets forth products that are excluded from the service. Some products excluded from Fulfilment by Amazon may still be eligible for sale on the Amazon.co.uk website. However, you will need to handle fulfilment for these products yourself. - Can I sell all of my products on any of Amazon’s European Marketplaces?
Most products are eligible to be sold on all of Amazon’s European Marketplaces. However, each Marketplace has different restrictions on some items. Please refer to the help documentation for each marketplace for further information. - Will you need any other product and order information from me?
In addition to the information requirements in the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement, you must also provide us with any other information we request about any of your products, or the fulfilment of your products, in a format and upon intervals that we request. This product information may include all information regarding all available product categorisation and sub-categorisations, item and packaging dimensions, weight and bar code data and product condition for all of your products if it’s not already in our catalogue. - Do I need to list a minimum number of items?
Fulfilment by Amazon has no minimum number of items required to use it. You can send one test item or a truckload.
Preparing Product Units for Fulfilment by AmazonExpand All
- How do I prepare units for shipment to you?
Each unit you ship to us should be ready for us to pack and ship to customers. Fragile items need to be individually packed with protective material such as Styrofoam or bubble wrap. Please refer to the Fulfilment by Amazon Merchant Manual for other product preparation requirements. - Why do I need to label my product?
Each unit must be labelled so that the correct item can be picked from inventory in Amazon’s fulfilment centre and shipped to your customer. Labels also help in tracking units you have in inventory at Amazon’s fulfilment centres. Shipments that are received without proper labelling may be returned to you. You can print labels from your seller account or use existing scannable labels (EAN or UPC). - What is labelling?
Labelling is the process of attaching a unique product identifier (such as a SKU) with its barcode onto the product. The label needs to be attached to each unit or to the outside packaging of the unit so that the entire label is visible. You need to ensure that each unit that is shipped to us has a label on its packaging that complies with these rules, including a scannable bar code containing the correct Amazon identifier. If any unit is shrink-wrapped or in a protective case, you will need to ensure that the bar code is scannable without needing to remove the shrink-wrap or case. The label must also cover the original barcode completely. - What is on a label?
A label has a product identifier specific to Amazon Fulfilment Services, including a barcode of the product identifier, item description, and item condition. - Which units require labelling?
Every unit must be labeled whether using the labels provided by your seller account or the original scannable label (UPC or EAN). - How do I print labels for my products?
After we provide you the information needed for the labels, print labels for the registered products from your seller account or using third-party software designated by Amazon. Labels will have the product description to help you match the label to the correct product. These can be found at any office supply store or you can purchase them on the Amazon.co.uk website. - Can you add the labels on my product for me?
No. At this time we don’t have a process for labelling your products for you.
Notifying us in advance of Product Unit ShipmentsExpand All
- How do I notify you of units I want to ship to you for fulfilment?
Once you register a product type, you will enter the number of units of that product type that you want to send to us in your seller account or using third-party software designated by Amazon. Then you will create a shipment in your seller account. Once you have shipped the units, you will set the shipment to Mark as Shipped. - How can I manage my inventory in Amazon’s fulfilment centres?
You can monitor your inventory levels online in your seller account or using third-party software designated by us. If you want to send additional units to increase your inventory levels, you will need to inform us of additional product unit shipments you want to send to Amazon’s fulfilment centre. See below for more information related to customer returns and inventory returns.
Shipping Product Units to Amazon Fulfilment ServicesExpand All
- How do I pack products for shipment to you?Collect your packaged and labeled units and pack them in boxes to ship to Amazon Fulfilment Services. Print shipping labels for your packages. You can print from your seller account the list of products and quantities you intend to send us and use this list as a reference when collecting the products from your storage facility.
Pack your product units using as few boxes as possible. Protect the products from damage during shipping by adding cushioning material like Styrofoam or bubble-wrap to the box. Check the sealed box to ensure the contents in the box will not shift during shipping and that the box is strong enough for shipping. Repack the box if necessary. - How do I select a transportation carrier and delivery speed for my shipment to Amazon Fulfilment Services? You can ship to us with any common carrier and for any shipping speed. When using your own carrier, you will be asked in your seller account to enter the tracking numbers you receive from your carrier when you ship your boxes.
- How do I generate shipping labels?Print out shipping labels for each box from your seller account or using third party software tools designated by Amazon. Attach shipping labels to the exterior of each box. The shipping label provides the destination address and return address. Labels printed for shipments on our carrier accounts will also include the tracking number. You will ensure that:
- All Units are properly packaged for protection against damage and deterioration during shipment and storage.
- Terms of freight for all units are F.O.B. Destination.
- All Units comply with our labelling and other requirements.
To purchase shipping labels on the Amazon.co.uk website.
- When an item ships out to a customer, is there a label on the box indicating that it came from me?Your name does not appear on item labels or on the shipping label that the buyer receives. Your name does show on the included packing slip in the box as the seller of record.
- What shipping method does Fulfilment by Amazon use for standard media shipping? All shipments that are Fulfilled by Amazon go out either First Class or better. For orders placed on other European Amazon Marketplaces, we will use Amazon’s fast European Fulfilment Network to get products to the customer as soon as possible.
- Can I arrange direct shipment of inventory to Amazon from overseas suppliers?Yes. We can receive inventory that originates from overseas. Sellers with shipments that originate from overseas will need to arrange the import and customs clearance of the shipment and then arrange for the delivery to our facility.
Note: The following conditions apply when sending inventory from overseas to Amazon:
- We will not serve as the importer of record or ultimate consignee on any of your imported freight.
- We will not be responsible for any duties, taxes or other charges associated with the importation of your freight.
- We will not provide POA or tax ID numbers to you.
- We will not provide brokerage or freight forwarding services.
- You are responsible for compliance and filing with all applicable other government agencies at the time of importation (e.g. FDA, TSCA, FWS).
- You must provide prepaid delivery to Amazon’s fulfilment centre.
- Do you perform quality checks on inventory when it arrives at Amazon’s fulfilment centre? We do not perform quality checks at the time of check in unless the item is obviously destroyed or damaged due to the inbound shipping. If you label an item as new and we see any indications of damage (cracks, chips, tears etc.) we will put the item aside as unsellable. If you labelled an item used that has minor damage, we would assume that it was shipped in that condition and make it available for sale and fulfilment.
Confirming Amazon Receipt of ProductsExpand All
- How will I know when you receive my products?
The Shipping Queue will show you the status of your shipments. After you mark a shipment as sent, your seller account will show that the shipment is in transit. When we receive your product shipments, we scan the items and the shipment will be moved to the Shipping Archive.
Inventory that is sent to a Fulfilment by Amazon fulfilment centre is generally received and made available for sale within five business days of receipt.
If you are using a carrier that provides tracking information and you see that your shipment has arrived at Amazon, but it has not been received for more than five business days from the time of receipt, you should use the Contact Us form to request information about the shipment s status.
In the form, please include your tracking-ID numbers and any other relevant information related to the shipment.
The primary causes of delayed shipment receiving are:
- Poor quality or missing labels (shipping or item labels that can t be scanned properly)
- Over- or under-shipments (too many or not enough items in the shipment resulting in further research by our team)
- Poorly packaged items or products that require additional preparations before sale (loose product, damaged product, and so on)
- Can customers purchase items online that are in transit to the Fulfilment by Amazon fulfilment centre?
No. For products you offer for sale through the Amazon.co.uk website, your listings will not appear for purchase by customers until we receive and check in the inventory. - What is the Replacement Value Amazon will pay me for lost or damaged units?
If a loss of or damage to any Unit occurs in circumstances for which we take responsibility under the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement, we will pay you either:
- An amount no less than the replacement value you specify to us or
- At our option, an amount equal to the applicable replacement value set forth in the Replacement Value Schedule based on the unit product (the Replacement Value). You may not specify a Replacement Value that is greater than the lowest selling price at which you list such unit or similar products for sale through any sales channel, and we may elect to use any such listed price as an additional basis for determining the Replacement Value.
To make a claim or learn more about this process, use the Contact Us form to send us the specific shipment ID and the claim reason.
- Am I required to provide a tracking number if a shipment is lost or not received by Amazon?
Yes. Amazon will require you to provide either the carrier tracking number or a delivery confirmation number on all claims of lost shipments or non-received shipments.
Managing Your InventoryExpand All
- What is the difference between the Inventory Amazon Fulfils page and the All Inventory page?
The All Inventory page allows you to manage your listings, whether Amazon fulfilled or merchant fulfilled. This page allows you to list and edit items for sale (price, condition, quantity, and so on).
The Inventory Amazon Fulfils page allows you to manage your Amazon Fulfilled inventory. This page lists all the relationships between listings and inventory items (FNSKUs) regardless of whether the listing still exists or even if the listing is now currently related to a different listing. This enables you to review existing inventory in Amazon Fulfilment, set up new shipments to replenish inventory, migrate listings back to Merchant Fulfilled and create online orders for your customers (Multi-Channel Fulfilment).
The Inventory Amazon Fulfils page, when viewed from other European Marketplaces will show all of your inventory, regardless of whether an offer has already been created for that inventory in that Marketplace or not. This enables you to review existing inventory in Amazon Fulfilment and set up new offers for inventory in other Marketplaces. - Why doesn’t a listing exist for my inventory item?
There are several different issues that can stop your inventory from selling on Amazon.co.uk. The most common cause occurs when your items appear in the Inventory Amazon Fulfills page but no listing exists on the All Inventory page. This happens when the listing is deleted for the item using a feed or the All Inventory page. If you area Pro Merchant and have more of the product that you would like to sell, you will need to list the item again using the same merchant SKU, ASIN, and condition. You can use the add a product button on the All Inventory page or feeds to do this. If you don t match the SKU, ASIN and condition, a second product will be added to your Inventory Amazon Fulfills that will not be associated with the existing inventory.
This can also result from delays in inventory systems. Generally, inventory updates show upon the Amazon.co.uk website within minutes. If the inventory has not shown up for sale on the Amazon.co.uk website after an hour and you have verified that the correct Fulfilled by Amazon listing exists, please contact customer support.
This can also occur when the inventory is associated with a Fulfilled by Merchant listing, especially if you haven’t specified a Fulfilled by Merchant quantity (see the following FAQ).
If you received an error on the Inventory Amazon Fulfils page relating to this issue, verify that the web page data has been updated recently(a time stamp is displayed below the search bar on the right hand side of the page) and that your item is not presently available for sale on Amazon.co.uk before reporting a problem. You can select the Show ASIN/FNSKU check box and then click on the item s ASIN to visit the corresponding Amazon.co.uk listing page. - Can I sell my Amazon-Fulfilled inventory with a Fulfilled-by-Merchant listing (an Amazon.co.uk listing does not exist for my inventory item)?
No. A Fulfilled-by-Amazon listing is required to sell the inventory in Amazon s fulfilment centres. If your listings are fulfilled-by-merchant, none of the Amazon held inventory will be available for sale. This usually occurs when you can see a quantity available in the Inventory Amazon Fulfils page in your seller account, a listing in the All Inventory page, but no listing on the Offer Listing Page on Amazon.co.uk.On the All Inventory page select the items to be Fulfilled by Amazon and choose Convert to Fulfilled by Amazon from the pull-down menu to migrate them to sell the Amazon Fulfilment Network (AFN) inventory. - Why has another item replaced this listing’s relationship to this inventory item?
You can only have one active inventory item for each listing (identified by a merchant SKU); otherwise the Amazon.co.uk fulfilment systems would be unable to determine which inventory item to ship for your listing.
For example, if you register a listing with a merchant SKU of my-SKU-1 for a specific ASIN and condition (creating an inventory item identified by an Amazon.co.uk Fulfilment Network SKU my-FNSKU-a ), then redefine that listing with the same merchant SKU, my-SKU-1, for a different ASIN or even condition, the previous inventory (my-FNSKU-a) item will no longer be actively associated with my-SKU-1. A new inventory item will be created (identified by FNSKU my-FNSKU-b ) and associated with my-SKU-1. Any inventory associated with inventory item my-FNSKU-a will no longer be sellable. If the merchant wishes to sell the inventory for my-FNSKU-a, the merchant must re-list the listing with the original values of the listing (merchant SKU, ASIN, and condition) that we re-associated with that inventory item.
If you are a Pro Merchant and wish to sell the inventory for the affected inventory item, you must re-list or edit the listing with the original values of the listing (merchant SKU, ASIN, and condition) that were associated with that inventory item. If you are an individual merchant, you will need to log in to your account and contact us through the Contact Us form to handle this problem because you cannot create or edit merchant SKUs. - I have rows on my Inventory Amazon Fulfills page that I no longer want. How can I remove them?
At this time you cannot remove the original item.
This can occur if you delete a listing from the All Inventory View page for items that you no longer plan on fulfilling by Amazon or when you create a new listing (or modify an existing listing) for a product that you already converted to the Amazon Fulfilled Network. Changing a listing s condition or correcting typos to your specified ASINs or Merchant SKUs can cause these unwanted rows. You can help prevent this from happening in the future by reusing the same merchant SKU, ASIN and condition of original items when relisting items. Note: Pro-Merchants can do this by using the Add a Product button or feeds to upload the listing.
The presence of the previous inventory item is benign as long as it does not have inventory. In the future,we will be adding functionality to remove these items, but for now they will stay listed under Inventory Amazon Fulfills. - Why do I have more than one listing for a given inventory item?
If you are using Stickerless, Commingled Inventory you are able to create multiple listings for the same inventory item. If a merchant already has a listing for a specific ASIN or UPC and creates another listing for that same ASIN or UPC, the inventory systems will map both listings (and their merchant SKUs) to the same inventory item (FNSKU). This is generally not a desired outcome, unless the merchant is attempting to sell different listings on different marketplaces with different prices. - What do I do with unfulfillable inventory?
You can request that your unfulfillable inventory be returned to you. You will need to Contact Us to set up a distributor return for the inventory you no longer want to be fulfilled by Amazon, including unfulfillable inventory. - Why does one of my reserved items remain in the reserved inventory?
Here are the most common reasons for items being reserved for long periods of time:
- Sometimes buyers purchase in-stock items along with advanced-sale items. When this occurs, the in-stock items might not ship until all the items in their order are ready for shipment.
- Sometimes Super Saver Delivery orders can take up to five days to be picked and packed. All items in the order will remain reserved until they are all ready for shipment.
- The reserved quantity covers more than just sold items. It can also include items that are being held for a fulfilment centre process. Here are some processes that could reserve your inventory:
- The items need to be measured, weighed, or checked for hazardous materials.
- The items are identified as not-for-resale by fulfilment centre associates (book remainders, promotional items, broken down bundles specifically listed as not for resale).
We are currently working on enabling Amazon’s fulfilment centres to provide explanations to you when this occurs; today the best indicator that something like this happens is when your entire inventory for a specific item is listed as reserved and stays there without decrementing for more than one to two business days.
- I sent a shipment, but it has not been received yet. Why not?
- The ASIN that my listing was listed against changed and now my inventory is not available for sale on Amazon.co.uk.Why not?
The most common cause for this scenario occurs when a merchant lists an item already existing with an ASIN as a new item, thus generating a new ASIN. This will create two products for the same item. To correct this, Amazon.co.uk will assign the item with the merchant’s new ASIN to the original ASIN. If this occurs, the inventory will need to be relabelled by the Amazon Fulfilment Centres, so it will be associated with the pre-existing ASIN. You will need to use the Contact Us link for assistance. This can be prevented by verifying that a product does not already exist before creating a listing for a new product ASIN. - Why is my inventory listed as Unsellable ?
Most often items are listed as Unsellable on your Current Inventory Report when they get damaged or don’t match the condition you assigned to them in the item listings. Items can also be identified as Unsellable when they are returned by customers if the condition has changed since leaving the fulfilment centre.
Once an item is identified as Unsellable, it is set aside for 90 days. During that time, you can request to have your unsellable items returned to you at your expense. Until the items are returned or disposed, you will continue to pay for the storage of unsellable items.
To have your unsellable inventory returned, Contact Us and provide the merchant SKU, the fulfilment centre ID and the quantity of unsellable inventory.
Multi-Channel FulfilmentExpand All
- What is Multi-Channel Fulfilment?
Multi-Channel Fulfilment is Amazon s service to enable merchants to fulfill orders from sales channels other than Amazon.co.uk using the inventory that they have stored in the Amazon fulfilment centre.
With Multi-Channel Fulfilment, merchants can submit order fulfilment requests to Amazon.co.uk using either a simple Web form, a flat file upload (for bulk requests) or use a direct website-to-website XML integration.
When the seller submits a fulfilment request for Multi-Channel Fulfilment, they include the buyer s address, shipping instructions (including the method/ship speed for Amazon to use) and can even include a customized note to the buyer on the pack slip.
When using Multi-Channel Fulfilment, Amazon will pass the cost of shipping through to the seller. Prices for Multi-Channel Fulfilment vary depending on the item and the ship method used for fulfilment. (Quick Reference: Calculating your FBA Programme Fees) - What shipping options are available for Multi-Channel Fulfilment?
With Multi-Channel Fulfilment, merchants can request the order be fulfilled to their buyer via two delivery speeds: Standard or Expedited. (Quick Reference: Calculating your FBA Programme Fees) - Can I customize the Multi-Channel Fulfilment packing slip?
Merchant s Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders include a packing slip that includes the merchant s name, address and a custom text notation. In the near future, we will be including the ability to include a graphical logo on the packing slip as well. - What type of box or packaging is used for Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders?
Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders are sent in standard Amazon.co.uk packaging that includes Amazon logos and inclusions. At this time there is not an option to use plain (non-branded) or customized packaging. - How are returns handled?
For Multi-Channel Fulfilment, all returns and customer service are handled by the merchant. Amazon.co.uk will provide tracking numbers for the shipment and direct buyers back to the merchant if necessary. - Can I request COD for Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders?
There is no support for COD at this time. - How quickly are Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders processed?
We operate our shipping service relative to the promise given to the customer. If the customer has ordered something second day (and the merchant selects this on the Multi-Channel Fulfilment request), we will get the item picked, packed and shipped to arrive no later than two days after the fulfilment request was submitted. This may mean Amazon uses a variety of different shipping services to meet the deadline, but we do meet or exceed it. The cutoff time for order receipt is by noon ET. - If I m using Multi-Channel Fulfilment, do I have access to tracking numbers? If so where is this information stored?
Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders display the tracking numbers for the shipments to the merchant under the Amazon Fulfilled Orders. - How is Multi-Channel Fulfilment billed?
To have Multi-Channel Fulfilment, you need a seller account. When registering for a seller account, a credit card is requested. The credit card is billed for the fulfilment unless the seller has a positive balance of outstanding sales revenue, in which case Multi-Channel Fulfilment fees will be subtracted from this balance. - Can I use XML feeds from a third-party integrator for Multi-Channel Fulfilment to automate the process?
Yes. Fulfilment by Amazon includes extensive APIs for direct integration with other software and websites. For more information related to our APIs, Contact-us. - How do I submit orders to Multi-Channel Fulfilment?
There are two ways to submit orders to Multi-Channel Fulfilment:
- Web Form: In your seller account you can create a shipment using the Inventory Amazon Fulfills page. From the drop down menu select Create a Fulfilment Order.
- You can use an API/XML feed to integrate your seller account with your ordering system.
- Can I use my own boxes for Multi-Channel Fulfilment?
Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders are sent in standard Amazon.co.uk packaging that includes Amazon logos and inclusions. At this time there is not an option to use a plain (non-branded) or customized packaging.
Amazon Fulfilment Centre FacilitiesExpand All
- Can I select the fulfilment centre where my inventory will be stored?
At this time, we select the destination fulfilment centre for your inventory based on several factors including the size and category of the product, your address and other fulfilment network factors. To determine where the item will be stored, you can create a shipment with the product and check the destination address.
If you have further questions regarding the destination fulfilment centre for your inventory please “Contact us”:/standards/contact-us/ form. - Can I select a fulfilment centre in a country other than the United Kingdom for my offers on other European Amazon Marketplaces?
No, at this time we select only destination fulfilment centres within the United Kingdom for your shipments. - Will my products be safe in Amazon’s fulfilment centre?
All fulfilment centres in the Amazon fulfilment network are secure climate controlled facilities with highly automated pick, pack and ship processes to facilitate the safe and timely processing of merchant orders. Features include the following:
- 24-hour security staff in fulfilment centre
- Fully automated wireless and computer-networked order tracking throughout the facility
- Climate- and humidity-controlled storage
- High-value secure cage storage

The Fulfilment by Amazon upper weight limit is 30 kilograms for any item. - Do you use a minimum weight or the actual weight of products shipped using FBA?
Fulfilment by Amazon uses the exact weight to the nearest gram. There is no minimum. - How is the Promised Ship Date calculated on orders?
Promised Ship Dates are calculated by shipping method chosen. If a customer has selected Super Saver Delivery or Ship When Order Complete this will delay the ship date.
Selling on Amazon Fees
Sales CreditsExpand All
- When will I receive payment for customer purchases?
All Amazon.co.uk merchants are assessed Sales Charges for the advantages of selling their products on Amazon.co.uk and on other European Amazon Marketplaces. The Sales Charges consist of two fees:
- Sales Referral Fee
- Per Sale Closing Fee OR Pro Merchant Monthly Subscription Fee
All sales fees are deducted at the time of sale from the total amount the buyer pays for the item. The remaining balance is added to your Payments Account and can eventually be disbursed to your bank account.
- For my Amazon fulfilled items, will I receive credit for shipping or fulfilment?
No, if you are using Fulfilment by Amazon, you will not receive additional shipping or fulfilment credit at the time of a sale. Since Amazon.co.uk is handling the fulfilment for you, the buyer pays for shipping directly to Amazon.co.uk and you pay the associated fulfilment fee per the FBA pricing schedule (Quick Reference: Calculating your FBA Programme Fees).
Note, sellers using Fulfilment by Amazon may still choose to fulfill some items themselves. In these cases the seller will receive credit for the shipping (less any applicable fees). For more on fulfilment and shipping credits, see the Fulfilment and Shipping Credits help topic.
Sales ChargesExpand All
- What kind of sales fees will I see charged to my account?
All Amazon.co.uk merchants are assessed Sales Charges for the advantages of selling their products on Amazon.co.uk. and other European Amazon Marketplaces. The Sales Charges consist of three fees:
- Referral Fee
- Variable Closing Fee
- Per-Sale Fee
All sales fees are deducted from you Payments Account after the Purchase Price paid by the customer is deposited to the account.
- How much of a referral fee do I pay to Amazon.co.uk?
The Referral Fee varies depending on the Product Category and the Marketplace your item is listed under. To determine the Referral Fee on a product ordered through Amazon.co.uk, you will need to know the Product Category and the Purchase Price.
Referral Fee = Purchase Price x Referral Fee Rate
Example: A customer purchases a camera for £500 (Purchase Price). The Referral Fee Rate for cameras (Product Category) is 8 percent. The Referral Fee would be £40 (£500 x .08 = £40).
For referral fees in other European Amazon Marketplaces, please refer to the respective help pages in these Marketplaces or the respective rate card. - Do I have to pay a Per-sale Fee for every item sold?
If you are not a Pro Merchant, you will be assessed a Per-sale Closing Fee for every sale.
Per-sale Closing Fee = £0.99 x Transactions
If you are a Pro Merchant, you will not have to pay the Per-sale Fee. Pro Merchants pay a monthly charge of £25.00 plus VAT, £28.75 no matter how many sales are processed during the month.
If the seller is a Pro Merchant, the Per-sale Closing Fee is waived.
