Who can sell on Amazon Handmade?
All products available in your Amazon Handmade store must be handmade, i.e. created, altered or assembled entirely by hand (not from a kit). Products must be handmade by you (the Artisan), by one of your employees (if your company has 20 or fewer employees), or a member of your cooperative (if your cooperative has less than 100 people). Sellers are unable to offer mass-produced products or products handmade by different Artisans in the Amazon Handmade store.
What categories are available on Amazon Handmade?
Right now, Amazon Handmade is open to Artisans who make Jewellery, Home products (Art, Baby Bedding, Bath, Bedding, Clothing & Shoes, Furniture, Home Décor, Kitchen & Dining, Lighting, Patio, Lawn & Garden, Storage & Organization), Party Supplies, Stationery, Accessories, Toys & Games, Sports, Beauty & Grooming and Pet Supplies. If your products don’t fit into those categories, don’t worry – we are working to open up more categories. Apply Now to be the first to know.
What if I already sell online?
No problem! You can list your products with Amazon Handmade too! Also, if you already sell with Amazon, you will be able to add Handmade to your account once you apply and are accepted. Instructions will be included in your invitation email. Apply Now
Do I have to reapply if I already sell with Amazon Handmade in the US?
If you already sell with Amazon Handmade in the US, you are eligible to list your handmade products on all five Amazon European marketplaces (,,, and without reapplying. To get started, you will need to fill out this form. You’ll be the first to know when it’s time to register for an Amazon European selling account and start listing your products. Please note, you will be responsible for complying with all rules and regulations for each marketplace that you do business in. Learn More.
How will customers discover handmade products?
Amazon Handmade is a separate category on Amazon so your products will appear alongside other handmade items for customers to browse, discover and shop.
Do I need to have EANs for my products?
EANs are not required, but you can add your own SKU or bar code to each product to help you track your orders if you already have them.
